🗿 Yehliu Geopark
Yehliu is a cape extending from the Datun Mountain into the sea. When viewed from Jinshan, it resembles a giant turtle diving into the sea, hence it's also called "Yehliu Turtle." Through wave erosion, rock weathering, and crustal movement, it has created various unique landscapes including sea caves, candle-shaped rocks, mushroom rocks, tofu rocks, honeycomb rocks, potholes, and solution pans. The Queen's Head, Fairy's Shoe, and Candlestick Rock are internationally famous sea erosion wonders. The statue of Lin Tian-chen in the area commemorates his heroic deed of sacrificing his life to save others.
